With summer gone, this black-eyed susan is trying to hang on a little longer. The petals have almost completely been blown off by the fall winds. Fall is not only bright, it is just as much dark. That is why it is my favorite season.
My name is Carl Vizzone. I live in Chicago. I am relatively new to photography. My weapon for this particular shot was a Canon 30D strapped with the 28-135 IS lens. This happens to be one of my favorite pics. The bright yellow tone of life, mingling with the future of death and decay. I feel that this is one of my best works to date.
