....swiss alps 2,132 m. , ( LUZERN ) one of the most visited alps in Switzerland........if not in the world..........COLD AS ICE!
Bratislava, Slovakia
A lot of travelers will tell you to skip Bratislava. What a shame. It's not Prague or Budapest, but has a charming square/plaza and wonderful cuisine. I like to form my own opinion on places. On this night, the clouds encircled the city and I took this photo which reminds me of "Back to the Future" clock tower.

good morning sunshine
(photo: arwazoo)
This photo was taken in Fernie, BC Canada, early in the morning on my way to work.
It is the mountain just to the right of the Three Sisters mountain and usually gets great shadows and mist.
I was really early into work today, so I decided to sit back, drink a coffee, and watch as the sun made it's appearance over the tops of the mountains.
I believe this was one of the best mornings I've had in a very long time.
Sometimes we need to just sit back and take notice of the things that are around us...

The Swing and The Nordic Warrior Princess
(photo: cmbrunken)
It was an accidental double exposure taken with my Holga at the State Fair of Texas.
So... the one thing I really really wanted to get a Holga shot of was this crazy Nordic Warrior Princess ride. It was just bizarre - the frame was composed of these, well, Nordic Warrior Princesses. Unfortunately, it was my one inadvertent double exposure of the day. I'll just have to go back next year and try again!
Edit - this photo has proved unexpectedly popular - hooray for happy accidents.

Westonbirt Silhouette
This was taken at the National Arboretum at Westonbirt in England.
It is a busy attraction, especially in Autumn, but we got there very early and took the reverse route, which meant that for much of the morning we saw very few people.
I was focussed on taking tree shots, so this silouette and the accompanying rays, was a real bonus.
