It is the silhouetted city that first defies the viewer, adornes nature in the lines of its silhouette, . It wants to be something different and higher than Nature. These high-pitched gables, these baroque cupolas, spires, and pinnacles, have the desire to be related with anything in Nature. And then begins the gigantic megalopolis, the city-as-world, which suffers nothing beside itself and sets about bewitching the city picture.
I took the shot from the Szabadsag bridge near the Central Market.

Game of Chance...
I was bored and decided to experiment with my new tripod and happened to find these dice. After several shots in b/w and colour I instantly liked this one best, because of the colours and lighting.
Webster's Falls, Hamilton, Canada
My real name is Sergey Mashchenko, and that I live in Hamilton, Canada.
My city (Hamilton, Canada) happens to be the waterfall capital of the world, with more than 100 registered waterfalls within the city limits. This particular one, Webster's Falls, is the largest one (24 meters high).
This long exposure (3.2s) shot was made with a neutral density filter, ND8.
For those interested in Hamilton waterfalls, here's a great on-line source of information: www.cityofwaterfalls.ca/

Shaker dawn
The woods in the picture are just across the street from my house, and as I state on the picture, I was just driving to work after a rainy night. The sun was heating up the moisture and mist was everywhere, and it created the most beautiful rays shining through the trees. It helped, of course, that the fall colors were in full swing. Better to be lucky than good!
