Mount Rainier Goodnight
Inge Johnsson (Photo Inge) is a Seattle based photography enthusiast who loves the fantastic natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. This particular shot was taken on an early August visit to the east side of Mount Rainier National Park, south of Seattle, mainly focused on the wildflowers of the season. As the day was coming to an end, the setting sun was illuminating the sky, lenticular cloud, and meadow around Tipsoo lake, while the backlit mountain receded into a blue shade, turning the whole scene into a study in shades and hues.

Bay of Valdez (Alaska)
The city of Valdez, placed in the south of Alaska in the area of the Prince William Sound. It is the destination of the Alaska Pipeline that crosses Alaska from north to south to transport the oil produced in the arctic area (Prudhoe Bay). In this place oil is transfered to boats. It was unfortunately worldwide famous after the desaster of the Exxon Valdez in the late 80´s. If you want to know more details see here: Exxon_Valdez

Fuji Sunrise at 50sec
On lake Motosu
This was shot with an EOS Kiss(Rebel) at |50 sec | f22 | iso100 |. Just the lens kit 18-55 cheapy lens. Cheap tripod with a cable release. Cleaned up in Photoshop but can't remember what I did other than remove a ton of spots. The sensor was very dusty back then. Thanks

Where the Buffalo Roam
I woke up early to photograph sunrise which did not amount to much due to the heavy cloud cover on the horizon. I decided to switch my attention to searching for wildlife and found these bison as the clouds began to clear revealing the mountains in the background. The photo was taken with a 70-200mm lens and a graduated neutral density filter to balance the light levels as I was still shooting slide film at the time.
