it's taken in the Carpathians in a place of volcanic origins. these rolling hills are on the way to a closed round valley where a beautiful round lake, St. Ana Lake of volcanic origin as well, is found.
It's a beautiful scenery in every season.
About me...I'm a beginner hobby photographer, I bought my Canon 400D only last summer.
This photo was taken with a small Nikon Coolpix 4...:-)

This photo was taken on dog-run near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire and Molly is shown here proudly accompanying one of the run's poo bins. It was taken with a Canon EOS 300D and 10-22mm lens, at f3.5 and at 1/60s, ISO 100. The colours have been warmed up but the face and pose is all her own ;-)

Que perdoar exige muita prática; e que condenar é mais fácil!
Eu aprendi:
Que há muitas pessoas que gostam de mim, mas que não conseguem expressar isso;
Que nos momentos mais difíceis, sempre fui ajudado;
Que eu posso ficar furioso, tenho o direito de me irritar, mas não tenho o direito de ser cruel;
Que jamais posso dizer a uma criança que seus sonhos são impossíveis.
Eu aprendi:
Que meu melhor amigo vai me machucar de vez em quando, que eu tenho que me acostumar com isso;
Que não é bastante ser perdoado pelos outros, eu preciso me perdoar primeiro;
Que, não importa o quanto meu coração esteja sofrendo o mundo não vai parar por causa disso.
Eu aprendi:
Que, quando duas pessoas discutem não significa que elas se odeiem. E quando duas pessoas não discutem não significa que elas se amem.
Eu aprendi:
Que por mais que eu queira proteger meus filhos... Que isso faz parte da vida;
Que minha existência pode mudar para sempre em poucas horas;
Que diplomas na parede não me tornam mais sábio.
Eu aprendi:
Que a palavra amor perde o sentido, quando aplicada sem com critério;
Que certas pessoas vão embora de qualquer maneira, mesmo que eu não queira;
Que eu preciso aprender a ser gentil, não ferir as pessoas, e ao mesmo tempo trabalhar pelas coisas que eu desejo alcançar com fé absoluta que vou conseguir.

As I patiently waited for the right moment, this fellow just wouldn't stop fluttering. I decided to go ahead and shoot him when he landed and the results were indeed "breathtaking"

I caught this shot of the lightning last spring from my back porch, I set my camera to a rapid shot (10 1 second shots) and got lucky when I caught this :-)

I still consider myself new to photography, I have only had my camera for 1 1/2 years and take it everywhere I go, it is a Canon Powershot A620.

World's Longest Suspension Bridge Opens in Japan

On April 5, 1998, 10 years after construction began, the ribbon was cut to open the world's longest suspension bridge, the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge in Japan. Following a parade of the 1,500 invited guests (including this author) across the bridge, the Crown Prince and Princess of Japan officiated the formal ceremony.
